I'm adopted. Two words that have really changed and transformed my life. When I labored and birthed my first child, I cannot even express the emotion I felt... I was holding a piece of me! Her blood was my blood, I was just in awe.

I've always desired to walk a path helping expecting families and newborns, and I believe our area desperately needs more support for these families! Birth is an experience that can totally change a mother's (and father's!) perspective and outlook on their own lives, parenthood, etc. Being involved to help inform expecting parents during such a delicate chapter in their lives, and being invited into their birth space would be the highest honor!

I have 4 beautiful children, and my last pregnancy, labor and delivery are what truly changed my life. I had done a lot of research on labor and I finally had an informed, empowering delivery. I was AMAZED at how powerful and amazing a woman's body is to triumph through labor, defying society's view on how women should birth! This is a big part of why I Doula. Women deserve a birth of their choice, with 100% support, nothing less. We deserve it! ♥

I am eager to support you and your partner on your journey, and to help transform Northcentral Wisconsin's entire outlook on birth! Inform, Educate, and Empower!

Hey there! Welcome! Grab a beverage of your choice, pull up a chair, and let me tell you a little about myself. I’m the oldest of six kids in a blended family. At a young age, I married a wonderfully romantic guy and together we made four ridiculously adorable baby humans. I’ve dabbled in a host of things that have pulled together a pretty cool skillset to create a confident doula who can literally save your life while arranging flowers and teaching in a preschool classroom while also cataloging books and preventing theft.

I “wing” life. I love Jesus. I’m a digital hoarder (thanks, Pinterest), a homesteader, a general Jill-of-all-trades. My husband and I homeschool our cherubs. I kill houseplants...mostly because I forget to water them. I like to learn new things even if the information turns out to be useless. I aspire to be a “lifeline” for someone on “Who Wants to be a Millionaire.”

When I’m your doula one of my goals is to be what you need me to be. Do you need a cheerleader? A drill sergeant? A walking encyclopedia full of birth knowledge? Do you need someone to walk five-hundred miles (and five hundred more) in the birth center hallways with you? Need a reminder of how awesome you are? I will do that!

My ultimate goal is to help you achieve the birth you desire. Simply, you call the shots...I support you in the many ways I know how to. How that looks completely varies from client to client. Rest assured, we will work together to create your vision. If that sounds appealing to you, let’s grab an actual beverage of your choice and you can tell me all about you.
